Description:
| Technique: Transfer-print | Archaeological Notes: This motif is not listed in Coysh and Henrywood (1984, 1989). It has a central pattern of urns and roses, with a border of roses and leaf stems It occurred only on cups and saucers (Brassey and Macready 1994: 40, 53 Fig. C6).. Five examples had pattern marks, one with FB impressed beneath the orinted mark (Brassey and Macready 1994: 60 Fig. 29g). This cannot be assigned to a manufacturer. |
