Geranium ()

Description: Technique: Transfer-printArchaeological Notes: This pattern title was identified from a complete ?Geranium? pattern mark. Coysh and Henrywood (1984:152) list ?Geranium? as a floral design attributable to Spode, which features a central scene of stylised Geranium flowers, encompassed within a geometric patterned border. Although this particular Geranium pattern is a floral design, it lacks the geometric border. An identical pattern mark recovered at Auckland Gaol also carries the manufacturer?s mark ?F.& R. Pratt and Co?.
