Description: Technique: Transfer-printArchaeological Notes: This pattern is also recorded in the D.O.C. reference collection as E.A.299. It is uncertain whether the name ?Dorgan? refers to the design title or to that of the possible manufacturer Lawrence Dorgan, who operated from Aldersgate, London circa 1814-40 (Coysh and Henrywood 1989:71; see Macready and Goodwyn 1990:12 Fig. 2 C5). Apart from minor variation, pattern number HM178 represents a replication of Dorgan
