The second is assigned to manufacturer Robert Heron & Son. The light blue chinoiserie design identified here is the same as the example recovered from Chancery Street, which carried both the pattern name and the simple initialled mark ?W.R?, attributable to William Ridgway (Macready and Goodwyn 1990:13; Fig. 3 C6). |
